1. Initial discussion

Congratulations on taking the first step to hitting your copywriting and business goals!

Fill in the contact form, phone or email me to let me know about your writing project, timeline and rough budget.

During our first chat, we’ll go through some information to help me give you an accurate quote, such as:

  • Key deliverables and roughly how many words or pages

  • Goals and objectives of your copywriting project

  • Benefits of your product or service

  • Call to action

  • Target audience

  • Brand voice

  • Deadline

2. Project proposal & quote

At this stage, I’ll send you a project proposal and quote based on our first chat. Your project investment includes:

  • A detailed copywriting brief to ensure I meet your expectations

  • Expert research into your brand, industry, target audience and competitors

  • Engaging, on-brand copywriting that compels your customers to act

  • Professional proofreading and editing

  • Two rounds of revisions to make sure it’s perfect

  • Free marketing advice and liaising with your designer, if applicable

3. Agreement & deposit

I require a 50% deposit to secure your writing time.

4. Creative brief

This is where strategy comes in to play. In this detailed briefing session we’ll dive even deeper in to the information I already have.

We’ll cover:

  • You - what’s important to you and what you want to achieve

  • Your business – background, goals, USP, competitors, vision

  • Your target audience – ideal customer persona and their desires, fears etc.

  • Your brand personality and tone of voice

  • Any other specifics we haven't already covered

5. Research & writing

Once we’ve finished the briefing and you’ve sent through any supporting documents, I’ll get down to thorough research for the relevant information I need.

Then I’ll have some real fun and start crafting your bespoke copy for the first draft!

6. Review draft & edits

I’ll send you my first draft for your review. I usually tend to nail a brief first time, but you'll have two rounds of revisions at no extra cost.

7. Final invoice

I’ll hand the final draft over to you, only when you’re 100% ecstatic with the copy and excited for customers to see it.

After this, I’ll send you the final invoice, payable within 14 days.

And of course, we’ll keep in touch in case you need any ongoing or future copywriting projects - pleasure working with you!
